A Zip’tastic Day!

Our last full day in Canada is now drawing to a close!

The end of our summer adventure! After a tumultuous storm in the night we spent our second day in a scorchingly hot Niagara!

What better way to start our last day with a real highlight … a zip wire over the falls!

Spectacular views and a lot of fun! The video clip says it all! Four parallel zip-lines that face the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls, dangling you 220 feet above the waters enabling gravity to pull you to the falls floor at speeds of up to 70km/hr! Great fun!

Not much could follow such a rush but Speedway came close! All three boys are so different in how they approach life …and their speedway experience was a good example of that! 😂 Cal took it seriously for all of 1 minute and then larked his way round with a cautious recklessness, blaming his car for his mid table position!

Jack careered round the track on full throttle from the get-go, whooping as he sped past – didn’t use his brakes once…

Tom looked delighted to be ‘out there’ from start to finish and was super steady, beaming as he gradually overtook a couple of people and happy to stay fairly safe!

The Attack of the Zombies simulator followed! What a shocker! Shooting 4D zombies whilst being thrown around in a roller coaster chair is so not my choice of fun!!! Having random figures throw themselves out of the screen at you was enough to put me in a complete tizz! I shot every zombie, every team mate and probably my own children!

I was grateful for the next activity Dinosaur 🦖 Crazy Golf! A lot of fun.. and a chance to recover on the fresh air!

The Niagara Sky Wheel came next… with unrivalled views over both the American and Canadian falls…

Death by Amusement Arcade followed … with a dose of Wild West Coaster and Lazer Ghost Blasters thrown in to really push us to the edge of sanity…. still, having won 700+ tickets the boys were delighted to queue for a bit of tat before the hilariously horrendous Movieland Wax Works! Some, granted, were pretty good…

But others were dire!! How that company hasn’t been sued for its efforts I do not know! Brad Pitt and Harry Potter looked liked they were dressed up mannequins stolen from Primark! 😂

Dinner at a lovely Italian before home for a hot tub and swim!

To finish off our last full day in Canada is was back down to the falls for one last visit – this time by night with fireworks at 10pm 😊.

Tomorrow we’ll pack and get on our way….homeward bound …a night flight so a day to use at leisure …

And there, ends, our Canadian Adventure… almost!
